How to "Debadge"

Have heard that monofiliment fishing line and 3M adheasive remover are the way to go... . Other ideas? thanks

Heat gun and a soft scraper, dental floss and adhesive remover.

Just yank them off and get one of the 3M eraser wheels for a drill. The eraser wheel works best at a slower speed. Works great and no paint damage.

when I did my durango, i used a hair dryer and a plastic bondo spreader. wd40 and a rag will clean up the left over adhesive.

yep. . i did fishing line and wd40 on 2 of them and it took like 30min each to clean. then got the pinstripe eraser wheel, and did the rest of the truck in about 45min. .



i got mine from napa [ultra pro # 60402]

after i pulled them off I used a plastic razor blade (yes they do make them) and WD40 and gas. Dont forget to wax the areas after you are done

Just got done with the new 07 megacab. It looks so good without the chrome badges. Naptha, some fishing line and a teflon spatula @ 50*. Took about an hour and a half. Amazing how it makes the truck look.

I'll second BigPapa on the eraser wheel on a slow setting using a cordless drill. Easy as pie and no damage to paint. Can get them at most auto paint supply stores.
