Road Trip

events?

Anyone know if the CONSTRUCTION is done yet. Last year, I believe we witnessed burnouts on a temperary strech of I-70.

That might of had something to do with the police running us back and forth. In fact, I believe I had seen a semi sitting in the traffic doing a burnout! :-laf

I'll have my people look into that and get back to you :-laf

So it's the motel 6 or days inn? Are those the main hotels in the area? We camped last year and it sucked. . missed most of the action except the warehouse night:-laf . Oh and last year we didn't have any of our "built" trucks with us. . only the rig pulling the camper. I thought there were three or four hotels right in the area, but just trying to get the one closest to the action/white castle:-laf :{ . Can't waitOo.

Guys,

Is this the thunder in new m uncie race ?:-{}

Are they doing anything on thursday?

What is the events schedule ??????:-laf

WAYNES WORLD

Wayne's World - This is now what used to be Thunder In Muncie. There's a little description but nothing specific yet on DHRA's website. The past 2 years there hasn't been anything organized at IRP on Thursday to my knowledge. It's just fun being there watching the convoys roll in Thursday and Friday:)

brianv31,

Brian,

Thanks for the info.

The wife & I went two years ago on the thursday opening day.

The hardest part was lightly pressing on the fuel pump.

Thanks,

anybody at the hoiday inn express? Booked a room there the other day. . it seemed like it was close to the motel 6(amerihost)on the map. Hopefully we can get back into the warehouse:-laf that seemed to have all the room we needed:)

You might have gotten the last ones, the lady tonight told me that they had no extra rooms left at Motel 6. Days Inn is booked as well.

On Edit, I called Motel 6 again this morning and got 2 rooms no problem, I didnt ask how many they had left, but Im sure its not very many.
