Buy my Fleetguard oil filters direct from Cummins. Cheaper than the dealer. Same goes for the fuel filter.

Local dealer wants $105 to change the fuel filter. Pricing didn't mention if any difference for year of truck.

"Mighty" oil filters? Never heard of them, which may or may not be good. I agree with the others -Fleetguard, and if I cant get that, WIX, though they are overpriced.

Another option is Baldwin. I'm running their fuel filter right now- The equivalent to the FS1221. Little longer than the 1232.

Purolator and Mobil 1 filters are good, as are Baldwin. I wouldn't touch an offbrand filter (or cheap oil) for my lawn mower, never mind the Cummins. And you're not going to hurt it with Fleetguard either.

Fleetguard, Fleetgaurd, Fleetguard!!!! You can't go wrong using Fleetguard.

That off brand never heard of crap will destroy a $10,000 engine.

Donaldson Endurance...

I'm runnin' the new Donaldson Endurance filters now, was running Wix on everything for years. . just thought I'd give'em a go... . switched to Amsoil too... was always a Rotella T or XLA guy before with my 6. 2's, couldn't run Amsoil in them, too much leakage and burnage for expensive stuff... . :-laf

The old GOat doesn't use or leak, so I give'er a treat... . :D

Those of you buying directly from cummins check and see if GEnos garage is cheaper on the Fleetguard filters. around here that is the case. even with shipping they are cheaper.

This is a Fleetguard Stratospore,

I was impressed, best I have seen,

OK tried to include picture, back to drawing boards

For the engine lube oil filter, I use the Fleetguard LF13065, the newer & larger replacement for the older LF3552.

Geno's stocks them.
