What the Heck

DHRA in Indy ?'s for those of us that haven't been there yet

The world's largest diesel event is around the corner-the usual top notch DieselPower! Additives Drag Racing action, Diesel Performance Motorsports Dyno contest with THREE classes; TDR/Genos Garage Show-n-shine and the Burnout contest hosted by COMPETITIONDIESEL. COM! Diablosport's Hot Bodies Contest; oh yea, did I mention DieselPower! Additives Sled Pulling? By the way, bring the kids-Raminator Monster truck will be giving rides on Saturday.

You don't want to miss the master announcing skills of Tim and Eric as they stretch the legal limits of what is allowed to be said in public.

Two days of intense diesel motorsports mixed with some partying and great buys from the vendors. June 2-3rd at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis. Find out who will be there, the schedule and much more by visiting www.dhraonline.com

The ohio convoy is already shaping up think we are at 15 trucks so far. I tink you need an EDIT button for tim and then just let him have at it:-laf

Is GLTDR going to be running the Show and Shine again this year? I haven't heard anything about it and was wondering. -Jason

This sucks! My son and I were going to convoy out on Friday with the rest of the GLTDR folks and then head back Saturday around noon since he is graduating this weekend. We figured we could at least enjoy the drive and Friday night fun and see some goodies and cool trucks before heading back but the wrench was tossed in. His school now says if he doesn't come to the practice on Friday he can't graduate!!!!! I'm fit to be tied. First the dates were changed early on which we were going to deal with now this! ARGH!!! He's bummed and me too as you might figure. Well it's the start of the season so we can at least hit up some pulls throughout the summer. But man it's not the same as missing IRP!!!!!!! :(

I don't know who Eric is but if he is in charge of the Indy event T-shirts I second the motion to get a Dodge on the shirt next year. I went by the Event T-shirt booth but saw only 2 styles; one with a Ford and one with a Chevy!!!!!

C'mon guys, don't we Mopar folks have to put up with enough over-abundance of bow tie and blue oval crap almost anywhere else we go?!?! Dodge dominates the diesel pickup scene and we still can't get a T-shirt with a Dodge on it?!?!

Needless to say, I didn't buy a T-shirt. My family would run me off for wearing something without a Dodge on it. I did get a shirt though; I just went over and got one from Haisley's booth with 3 Dodges on it!

Guys, we don't have much say in the t-shirt designs for this year. That may change for next year. They did have the quickest Cummins in the world on it though..... And the Ford that was on the front is a Cummins powered 03 that won the Fluidampr Super Street class. But I understand Mopar is Mopar. Maybe I'll suggest an event t-shirt with each make on there? Or one for each make?
Maybe they think since the Ford doesn't do so well at the pulling and racing they will give them some glory on the front of the shirt?
