My original FASS serial # 194 (95 model) has developed a leak, so I ordered the upgrade through Source Automotive. I received the updated FASS HPFP, however the new pump will not mount up to my original bracket. Was I supposed to receive a new bracket, or was I sent the wrong pump, my old pump has 4 studs that protrude through the bracket which then have a washer and nut to secure the pump to the bracket. The new pump does not have the studs. My truck has been down over a week now and I really need to get this fixed. Can you help?
Thanks,
Casey

However, there is a problem, The electrical connector got brokem in shipping it looks like. The end on the motor the plastic that goes around the prongs is half broken so the prongs are visible.
I might be able to still use it but kind of hesitant of leaving thm esposed even if i do wrap it up with electical tape moisture will still find it way in down there.
What shoudl i do

I was planning on getting the updated pump but I ordered mine direct from Brad, and the closest dealer is several hundred miles from me. If its not too late what should I do?
Aaron_A said:I have the new pump installed and will send the warranty paperwork in the morning. The new pump seems to be a lot louder than the old pump. I cant remember if my old pump was this loud and quieted down after a few miles or if it was always quiet. Its been so dang cold here lately I hate to go outside and look at it (todays high temp was -10 below)
I still need to get the old pump boxed and shipped out too, sorry I'm so slow.
Hey Dan is the upgrade campain still going?

I bought a Fass-150 S/N2405 about 3-1/2 years ago from Brad (?) at a truck show in Orange Co. , Ca. Because of a bad back I wasn't able to install it. It has been in the box in the garage since then. I now need to install it with the help of a friend. Do you think the seals are still good or what?
It is unused but I wonder if some parts are obsolete.

I have a HPFP serial #7025 that seems to be noisey. I can hear it in the drivers seat even when the truck is idling, the windows are up and the radio is on. Are you still doing the "quiet" modifications?
Well..... i dont think you will have any issue with installing and running the kit. BUT if its unused, let me talk to Brad and see if we might have some options for you. Dont install it just yet. Ill PM you tom.
