The folks at Geno's Garage want to get into the "fun" (and free) act too.

Spring is here. Spring brings all kinds of opportunities to tailgate. And Brandon overstocked the Geno's Garage shelves with "Tailgators - Tailgate Seats. " So, the staff of Geno's wants to give three of these away - no charge.

Don't know what it is? You can get the scoop here: https://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TAILGATOR.

But here is the catch.

If you want to be included, you simply have to post why you want it and how you'll use it. The Geno's staff will judge their favorite three responses and ship your Tailgators right out. They'll be looking for creativity, ingenuity and fun spirit.

Entries must be posted in this thread by April 19, 2008. Winner will be announced on April 21, 2008. Tailgators will be shipped on April 24, 2008.

Keep it clean. Remember, we're looking to have some fun here.

I would like to be included in the Tailgators contest. When my wife and I go camping to our favorite fishing pond in the Northern New Mexico High Country and we unhitch the 5th wheel, we back up the truck to the pond and sit on the tailgate to fish from. This way we have everything we need in the bed of the truck, such as bait, fishing hooks and beer.

I sure could use 'em at the truck pulls!

Tailgate recliners... ..... hhhhmmmmmmm... ..... what'll they think of next?

I take out hunter here in Colorado. I usually sit or stand on the back of my tailgate to address the hunters on what were doing that day. Wife is generally there. Tailgater would sure be nice. Oo.

I just built a receiver mount for my clay trap thrower. The tailgator would be a prefect addition for me and my buddy to sit on. It has a space to hold the shotgun shells, a place to sit our drinks in :D, and a cushion seat for our rear.

Tail Gator...

My wife and I would love to have a Tailgate seat on our truck. We spend 4-5 nights a week on the softball field. Both our daughters play. Our oldest is a Varsity HS player and our youngest is a travel ball player and a recreational league player. Her travel-ball schedule consists of 7-8 week-end tournaments. Three games Saturday to seed and Single elimination on Sunday. Needless to say long days, tired legs and many opportunities to tailgate. Beer anyone?

Great use for these would be at the Flashlight Drags, held locally, might be better than loading the recliner everytime we go!:-laf

No REDNECK here . . :-laf

It would go great with my minifridge and microwave and bumper dumper.

I would never have to leave my truck for anything!! :-laf

(ok so all the above was a complete fabrication. But in my own mind I'm HILARIOUS!;))

I want the Tailgator for Tim I to sit on it and look for the right opportunity with a place to keep our beer and binoculars.

While Tim and I were sitting in my Dodge truck on the Tailgator in Timbuctoo looking for an opportunity, off to a distance we spotted three young maidens in a tent. Since they were three and we were two, I bucked one and Tim bucked two.

Well, if the other NETDP guys read this, I bet we could get all 3 shipped to CT :-laf

Every July 4th for the last 7 years, we have gathered in the town of Stratford for a "Fireworks Tailgate Party". This has grown from just 2 trucks, up to about 15. It is mainly just CT people, but we have had a few TDR members from Mass, VA, and PA show up for the night. One of the CT members brings his 5th wheel and makes homemade pizza!!! We spend about 8 hours grillin all kinds of good eats, down just about every kind of booze known to mankind, and shoot off fireworks that last year were better than the ones the town was shooting off. It's a huge family event that everyone looks forward too.

Toolman, Signal73, c'mon guys... :D

That would be perfect to help my wife and I secure our favorite fishing spot in the wonderful "combat fishing" arena we have here in Alaska. Just back the truck up and you have a great place to sit and store your tackle and no worries about someone stealing your spot.

I am hoping to take my son for his first antelope and/or deer hunt this year. Sure be nice to have a comfy seat when it's time to "release the dogs" after a long hike through the desert! If not that, a comfy seat to pull off the waders after slogging through the muck and mud whilst duck hunting! And I do like the beverage holder part...

My wife and I go to the Indianapolis 500 every year. It would be really handy to have a comfortable spot to sit anywhere we go around Indy! And we just had a son (9 weeks old) it would leave room for him to sit in the bed.
