I am gauging the interest of a mechanical fuel system for the 1998. 5-07's. It will be a full billet pump that will pack a lifetime warranty. Installation is much simpler than the old RASP system. The system will be priced around the electric pumps on the market. What do you guys think?

After I get my AirDog, NOW he tells us this! :-laf

Stefen, I think it would be a great idea. Come up with a replacement for the VP44 too, no sarcasm intended whatsoever, then you'll really have the market cornered!

Im sellin my AirDog to my buddy and im goin with a mechanical setup witch one i dont know yet, so how soon are we lookin for this to be out?

Very interested and would also be a beta tester for one on a 06'!!!

Thats Opie's Mitusa setup, very similar to the GDP Fuel Boss IIRC these are the only two mechanical systems available as of right now!

Id say the DTT one will be similar to these two.

Im gonna be gettin one SOON so id like to know as much about this one as possible!!

1/2" lines?

Will the stock fuel system start the truck like the two mentioned above and once pressure builds will it kick off and then be running on the mechanical one?

I have about 3 more months before I get something either an airdog or this. I just want good fuel pressure and be able to have the best filtration possible so if this looks good I'll be in line.

DTT was the first one to come out with a mechanical pump, this is a new update system. It will have 1/2" lines. The best part of this system is that it doesn't need an electric fuel system as a way to prime like the old set-ups due.

Woohoo! He be speaking my language. . Oo.
And, Gotta have one made from the original designer. . Thats worth an extra 250 points at the end of the game, "automatically" :)

I won't post pics until I have 20 kits in stock. With our last set-up being reverse-engineered so fast I want to have a head start before it happens again.

I'd also be interested.

Would they be mounted in the same area as the previous model? My only concern is I live in the MidWest where we have a lot of salt attached to snow and ice during the winter. Have there been any problems with build up around the pulleys, and the belt slips off? Would there be a way of putting a plate around the unit some how to protect it?

Just some thoughts while waiting for pictures.
