sure thats a good price but how do you prefilter the oil dieselcraft says it need to be prefiltered to 100 micron or better then you can heat it up and centrifuge it. The oil needs to be heated to 140+ degrees 180 is best and nothing over 210 degrees.

then if you use that hose they supply (braided pvc) with heat if used that hose gets hard really hard, forget trying to uncoil it in the winter and if you pump hot oil over 150 degrees the hose will bubble.

I am not saying this wont work it will its the same stuff I use filter, pump drum and centrifuge building one and have one on order for another project.

Its just not as easy as running the oil thru the filter once and then of the the truck.

I was told buy the owner of Dieselcraft that the oil needs to go thru the centrifuge at least 4 times before its clean using the oc-20.

but yes, all in all its a good deal

Hrmm, didn't know that.

I read over on another board where a fella is using one of these off the truck to clean up WMO for use in the truck.

I was thinking you could connect the above unit or the dieselcraft to one of these, once the tank is full let it set for a week or two & drain out of the bottom sump, a gallon or two, then plug in shop air and circulate the contents.

Sounds like ambient temperature wont work?

Second option is to simply use an automotive fuel filter, would that not work to clean WMO up?

Maybe its different for WVO??

You can put a filter in the top of one 55 gallon drum when your initially pooring it in, then theres the filter in the middle and then on to the centrafuge. Both of the drums are heated, the second one more than the first.

diesel craft

Hello to All

Will I have been playing with the unit POSTED IN THE DSE POST and as far as clening the oil it does do a great job BUT, it does not polish the oil like a bag filter does its not as clear as I would like so. on monday I will be taking a trip to the filter king here in town and it will be taken care of.

I will post pic as soon as i can on this.
