I doubt Dodge has anything to do with it... California sets their own regs, let them suffer with low mpg gassers for eternity... automakers need to stop kowtowing to the whims of California politicians... make cars that people want to buy and if people in some states can't buy them because of their failed government policies, too bad.

Ditto. On a side note, Ive YET to meet a salesman that knew what they were talking about. They start telling me stuff, and are surprised when I tell them no and inform them of the REAL facts

Wait a year or so after they come out, then buy a used one or a lease return. Sucks you cant buy a new one, but I hear that is how komiphornia people get diesels that are otherwise banned by their liberal idiot government.

Won't the 7500 mile rule still apply like it has before??:confused: Val, if thats the case , buy one up here , I'll put the 7500 miles on it for ya', then you can have it back down there !!:-laf

Naaaaaaaa I wasn't looking for 1 I was bs'n with a sales man and he was saying they don't meet smog reg so there not comming to Cali I personaly think he's full of some Stinky stuff:-laf

Plenty of Ca emission compliant diesels in car form are coming here despite the Green Eunich's attempts otherwise. My fear with them is that they'll be so loaded up with smog crap,it'll negate the gains. This state's gonna self-destruct with all the "unfriendly to business" laws and mandates coming in. :{

One would think that since the new B series Cummins is smog compliant for years to come that Cummins would use the same technology to make the v-8 diesel compliant as well.

A Chrysler rep announce they won't be selling half ton diesels in the 2010 model year,
maybe 2011. I wonder if Cummins stopped production until Chrysler pays them the
forty million they're owed. GM has dumped theirs completely. No one seems to
have heard from Dorf. Hey, times is tough.
