This '93 showed up at our Dyno Daze in '07. Belongs to Russ G. he is from NC. This one started out as a Dually, looks like Russ finally rubbed off the extra fenders and outer wheels. Russ told us this truck has been to Alaska several times. When Dave Dunbar put it on his rollers, he did a big double take, this rig has a compound transmission, thats right 2 sticks! Dave fumbled with it for a while, found the right gear set and hit 158HP 352TQ. If Russ wins, I'll give his info to Robin and let them contact Russ.

I guess it is in the eye of the beholder, no way is Russ's truck truly ugly. It is a survivor of 16 years of Russ and his '93 traveling the USA, making memories and getting a few battle scars along the way. Russ doesn't worry about keeping up the paint, his wheels are as issued (I think) his rig has been modified to fit his needs, it ain't no garage queen.

This is my 05 Dodge on Top of the World Highway coming from Dawson City in the Yukon going to Chicken, Alaska.



It had so much mud and bugs on it, you couldn't tell the truck was only 1 1/2 years old at the time. Picture taken Aug 06.

thanks! i love my 1st gens. this truck loves to tow, but not so much show. yes, it needs a little paint, but what the pics dont show is how rough the remaining paint is. the hurricane really did a nice job on it, it feels alot like sandpaper. i am dreading stripping it, as its gonna be alot of work.

Lots of bugs and mud but I bet the view out the windshield was worth every bug SPLAT and rock chip.

It was. The Top of the World Highway from Whitehorse to Dawson City, Yukon to Chicken, Alaska is awesome with the mighty Yukon River way below the highway.

Here is my 89. It was alot more ugly before I started spray painting over the parts of the paint that are peeling off. I just can't keep up, now its 20 shades of white and rust creeping through the cheap paint. I've worked this ol' girl hard, been on a number of cross country trips towing 10k pounds with the box fully loaded too. Never let me down and keeps tickin.
