Is it necessary to put this warning on a product - - - do you think somebody did it a sued when they were hurt?

Usually, the warnings you read on products that would seem to be obvious are put there because the companies have been sued for these actions. Example, caution Hot on coffee cups!

I know its a long shot, but perhaps they were trying to be humorous? You can still the standard warning label on the side.

When I had my tool rental business, I had several Brush Bandit wood chippers, the largest being a 12" machine. If it had any more safety and warning decals on it, the manufacturer wouldn't have had to even paint it.

It also had what were the "last chance cables", so that as you were being consumed by the feed rollers, you could pull this cable and reverse the feed (from inside the feed chute) and at least save your stupid ***** from total destruction.

Maybe it would be fun for us to take a pic of the most idiotic warning label and post it here. I am going to start looking. :-laf

That's gotta be a joke. C'mon, if you put that on your head it would wind up on your shoulders unless you have an enormous head diameter.

The moment you tried it and it slid down over your face, you'd say "gee, that's no good!" There cannot possibly be people that dumb out there.

No- - - It's not a joke

Yes - - There are people out there stupid enough - - just look around you, at a store, at a bar, or especially out on the highway. You'll even see people who purchased a 6 ltr. Ford Diesel! I call that really stupid - - Oo. Oo. Oo.

I've heard people call someone, "Bucket Head", perhaps its for them, with the right kind of liner it probably could work. Wonder if someone found the patent number of it, would it give evidence of such use?
