Tdr on kindle

This may sound kind of stupid, but is there a way I can get the TSB's and the digital copies of the TDR issues so that I can place them on my Kindle? There are a couple of reasons for this. The first is that it would be nice to instead of having to bring my laptop out to the truck when working on it I can bring the Kindle. The other reason is that I am getting ready to go on a six month deployment with the Navy and it would be nice to be able to read TDR while underway without having to use some of the precious little space I have available on the ship to store issues of TDR. If it is not possible, owe well, if it is this would be awesome.

Unfortunately no. The TDR magazine currently can only read online.



And I wish you could because I'd sure like to be able to save copies to my iPad the same way I can with many other of my favorite magazines.

We are workiing on it but it's not a simple operation. The kindle uses a proprietary file format and we can't put it on there directly right now. The Ipad is going to be even harder because they refuse to support flash. We are looking at options and figuring out what is possible.

Steve must've bought a new phone, err, site maintenance device recently. Probably wore the last three out keeping the site running. When he's in the middle of the woods on his dirt bike, only *one* signal is allowed to vibrate his phone: "TDR's down". Well, in addition to his wife and kids if they aren't with him.

Is it possible to view the issues in PDF format on adobe acrobat? If they were then all someone would have to do is download them, then drag and drop them over to the reading device.

According to Steve Jobs, Flash is dead. ... Perhaps.



Even though Adobe is part of the evil empire of creating proprietary file formats, you can get a free . PDF reader from Acrobat for either Macs or PCs. Macs come with Preview which will let your read PDFs. And iPads and iPhones alike allow you to view . PDF files.



That leaves the Kindle. Looks like you can now read . PDF files on Kindle.



. PDF that seems to be the answer.
