I remember when I orderd my 1st new truck. . 04 quad cab 3500... took like 3 mo... I think the co was on strike and then the railway went on strike. . so it took forever... was my 1st truck so i was excited to get it... :-laf congrats

My '94, which became a '95, took almost 7 months. My current truck took a little over 2 months, and part of that was a delay caused by a big midwest storm in February of '03.

My truck was caught in the paint problem during the '03 production. It was built in February, but it took until May for it to be released and delivered. It came with a separate 10 year paint warranty from Chrysler. It will be nine years next month and the paint still looks like new. :D

I ordered mine in June, and got it delivered in October... Didn't realize paint was going to be an issue in '03...

The '95 should have come with a paint warranty, I could've done a better job on the Driftwood in my back yard. The Emerald Green was OK. The driftwood started to fail when the truck was about 7 years old- and this is a garaged truck that was regularly washed and waxed.

The '03 still looks like brand new.
