HH. In your neck of the woods. Waiting for connector flight at DFW airport.

Seems all that fluff about all the water must be a lie. Seems like everything is pretty dry. Granted, you do have a lot of freakin water towers around here!!! Good lord.

I'm bored. ;)

Yeah, that's pretty nice... . I like me some big tires. What kind of spacer or rim did you use in the back?

I have a 2in. aluminum spacer, it only needs a 1in though. I just had that 2in. at the house so that's what I used. Also I am running a steel third gen wheel for the inner and Eagle aluminum wheels (they are manufactured by Alcoa).

Ha!! You're sitting on the old family farm!! My family settled that area just before the civil war. The old house was just East of you on Beltline road @ 2 miles... . The water towers are so the fine folk of the DFW Metrohell can water their yards... . so they can mow them... . so they can water them... . so they can mow... . I've still got some land I inherited down there... I need to get it sold... you flew right over my head, no doubt. Scary. What brought you down here?!? I'd have cooked steaks if I'd known... . oh, wait, I did anyway!! :D

Cool on the spacer. I prefer the steel, as I've broken a couple of aluminum ones... . but I'm hard on stuff..... :D

Ok, I see on the spacer size. I used the 1. 5" on my '03, and it works pretty well. They'll ocassionally rub with an extremely heavy load. I'd think they would on your's too. I'd wager you are using either the 315/70R17 or 35x12. 50R17? I don't like having to have the fender extensions on mine, but the tires make the truck float in the sand and get around sooooo much better.

Ummmm, no on the Eagle wheel being made by Alcoa. American Eagle wheel is a privately owned family company. The company helped develop counter-pressure casting, a completely different process than ingot forging, use by Alcoa. It also has its own coating facilities to create finishes used in their other wheel lines, such as BOSS, Eagle, MSR, Rhino, USA Forged, and VooDoo. The have a factory in California and another in South Carolina. NOT to take away from their quality. I like their product, and actually carry a few in stock. I wish they weren't so hard to get sometimes!! The 17s were impossible to get '05-08. I had 6 month backorders!!! :{

Ahhh, where to start?

HH, you haven't seen anything over there! Before Richie had personal issues and took time off he and I would snipe at each other on 3 or 4 threads at the same time. As in one right after the other! :-laf Did you notice I have 6k posts on there? :D I miss him, we had a ball, and as he was the main Mod, we didn't get in much trouble. :cool:

JH, you trying to cut the site bandwidth by 1/2? :-laf

We could start a 1st Gen volunteer thread!
Those that need help would post "Wanted: Assistance needed to prevent further brain damage. #@$%!"
Willing people would respond with coolers and fresh knuckles! :D

I don't think there's any helping a first genner. ;)

But hey, if there's any in Missouri I'd be willing to tell em what they are doing wrong.
