I made this bumper from basically (90%) 8"x8" square 1/4" wall tube.

some plate 2 shackles and 2 4" LED backup lights.

If you make it right the stock mounts can be used with NO modifications, only a couple of spacers needed for 2 holes. Still retains the 2 mounting holes for the above/for the factory hitch AND the factory license plates lights and 7-pin trailer connector.

Don't have it in these pictures but I put put non-skid on the top surfaces.

Put the "steps" on to make it easier to get in the bed.

Nice work - your welds are better than what some of the aftermarket companies do.

Is there something to keep the D-rings from moving/rattling?

Very nice work!
I like the auxilliary lights, hope to put those lights on my back bumper some time.
So how many guys did it take to lift it in place:D

Thanks!! That gives me a great idea for putting "steps" on my factory bumper. I am getting old and I especially need the help getting in the back when the tailgate is down or one of the trailers are hooked up.

Nice work Bob. . that looks as good as any aftermarket styles. . Like the steps built in. . might have tried a little cut out on the end of the bumper. . a recess to put a toe into when the tailgate is down to help get up. Now paint the receiver hitch. !

I love it. Now just add some hose over the Drings to keep the clanging down and you've got a serious problem for the next Honda to rear end you.

Thank guys!

I was going to put some electrical shrink tubing over them but they don't move or rattle at all right now/as is.

Thank you,

I was going to do the cut out thing in the back corners but that only drops the "step" down abount 3".

These "steps" are far enough out that they can be used with the gate down.
