Don't watch much TV and don't believe half of the weather report, but I heard that most of the Southern states got some snow and or ice?
We play most everyday Sled, just depends on your mind set for your opinion of Play, Plow this on animal drawn snow plow!! it may change your desire to play.
IT GETS PLENTY COLD!!!
I have fun with it anyway, Don't think the mules like it as much :-laf
Sled I don't do that!!! I don't bounce as well as I use to, we have some young folks around that do things like that, and shortly after they are taken away in an ambulance to the hospital!! I just take our luxurious model Yamaha and cruse the woods and mountains. It goes plenty fast to mess ya up if you do something stupid. This is the area to do stupid things on snow sleds
Penny has videos for her website thing or what ever it is, THAT DON'T WORK LIKE SHE WANTS!! She's a LITTLE more than PO'ed. I just do the job she makes the comments. Should be running soon I HOPE!! life is not fun when she's upset.
While we do get a fair bit of snow here ( 32" in Nov & Dec so far) the picture is of course mountains poking thru the clouds. I took it while flying back from Vancouver Island BC at Christmas. This winter has been different than we used to get. Jan is normally cold but this year we have had days where it was +8*C ( about 45*F ) so a lot of our snow melted. We used to get down to -30*C ( about -22*F ) for days in the past. Our annual snow removal budget for the calendar year of 2013 was $52 million. We blew it by almost $20 million this time. My buddies 1st gen had the snow piled on the hood up to the sunvisor before we cleared it off. These older pictures of my Dodge and TT shows that we do get a little bit of snow. Of course other parts of Canada and the US get way more than we do. Generally our snow is dry and powdery
We finally got our first snow for the winter and the most moisture we've had since early fall. It's only a couple inches of wet stuff but good enough to drag the kids behind the ol' Big Red. #ad

The boys already soaked a set of winter gear so the oldest has on his moms gloves, running shoes and last years suit that's two sizes too small (good enough).
Shadrach, years ago I spent a few winter months near Lodge Pole (at a camp near Brazeau). For two weeks it never got above -30C and was -40C at night.
I like the interviews of some of the locals that said " Its the governments responsibility to keep them safe," my question in this case " Safe from WHO? THEMSELVES"!!
