With the 60 day shipping delay from Mexico to PA, I'd only had my 2014 for 12 days and 600+ miles. After driving to get my camper out of storage my dear wife noticed a wet spot in the our condo driveway. Turned out to be diesel fuel and after climbing under the truck directly under the drivers seat area, I found the source of the leak. See the pics.
Supply/return lines from the tank, and at a connection, a leak. Only when truck running, but a leak never the less!
Supposed to leave town tomorrow for a summer of camping in Colorado, but got squeezed in for an appointment at the nearest dealer this morning. The diesel tech was not able to repair... suspect he disconnected and reconnected and still leaked.... so need a new fuel line. Not sure which piece, but we're not going anywhere soon.
Of course it's unusual, and there is only one needed fuel line at any dealer in the US, so it must come from 'home', where ever ET calls home.
Dealer hopes to get it in Friday and maybe we can travel by Saturday. So cancelled one reservatioin and sat back to wait. After all, I am retired!!!
