I understand with all the electronic gremlins on the new trucks that RAM is working on a get home feature for Cummins12V98's new 3500 duallie. SNOKING

I'm curious what the lighter is for...if I didn't know any better I'd say someone was hittin' the ol' happy stick earlier :-laf

Funny! But I'm still ****** that I have to wait for it! I guess another couple months won't really matter now.

While mostly irrelevant, I've noticed that you can build a 2014 3500 with rear air on Ram's site as well. A few months ago, I don't recall being able to do that.

Was looking at a new 3500 srw noticed it didnt have helper springs but the drw does. Was wondering whats up with this.

Upper overlaods haven't been on the 3500SRW since 2009.

The 03-09's 3500 SRW trucks used the 2500 main leaf pack with the DRW upper overload pack. The overloads, in stock form, are pretty useless as they didn't make static contact until you where at the tire limits.

The '10+ 3500 SRW trucks use the same main pack as the DRW, but without upper overloads.

That explains the ride :-laf.

Well now the brains at Ram headquarters have removed the air ride from the 2015 line up for the 3500's. Still available on the 2500's though.:{

I have been saying all along that the air bags were to far inboard for a HD pickup. Tommy Tippee! I will bet when you see it again they will be out where the 2500's air bags are and where traditional leaf springs are located. SNOKING
