New from South Florida
Proud owner of a 2014 2500 SLT 4X4 crew cab.
First time diesel owner.
Would like some direction as to what mods to start with.
Plan on doing a 6in lift(not sure brand).would like to put 37in tires
And this whole to do or not to erg/dpf delete thing.

Welcome to the TDR and congratulations on the new the new truck (CTD Cummins Turbo Diesel). What I have read no need to delete on the def trucks the emission system is a lot better. The injection events are fine tuned to reduce emission coming out of the cylinders (of course with the help of the def, pdf and egr(which has been less problem free).
For lifts other members will have to chime.

Welcome to TDR. X2 on leaving the emissions system alone. The 2013-2014 trucks seem to be doing just fine with the factory systems in place.

Welcome to the forum. I to would suggest that you try and leave the emission system intact. I would try and read what Robert Patton has published in the quarterly magazine we receive on deleting the 2014 trucks. See issue 83 page 44 thru 46.

Also the aftermarket manufactures of programmers that can delete the emission system are not providing them for the 2013.5 and up Ram trucks. I believe that a couple of them have been heavily fined by the EPA, for providing this capability on earlier trucks such as the 2007.5 and up to the 2011 trucks; such as EDGE products to name just one. I believe that H&S performance has been fined also per a comment on face book that my son sent me also. He is part owner of a diesel shop near me.

Sorry that I have not respond sooner but I am traveling. I am in Newport RI right now and I am responding on my wife's I-pad and it is difficult to review the procedure to tell you how to view. The articles are in digital format and someone might respond till I get back on the 30 of Sept.
