I'm looking for the window weatherstrip/seal for my 03. This is the seal that the window actually seats against and not the door seal.
I can't seem to find it on-line anyplace and it would help if anybody has a part number for it.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

I'm not a parts guy so verify before you purchase. Quad cab front door. Fits 2002-2010, $130 retail.
Right 55276180AH
Left 55276181AH

Any idea why those were updated several times ?

That's a good question and now that I think about it, some part of my window seals were replaced under warranty when the truck was only a couple of months old. I think it was a different part though because I seem to remember the tech telling me some glue had to dry.
Witha revision that high, they must have had lots of issues.

IIRC, the oem seals WERE part of a TSB, the reason being the original design allowed the door to wear a long hole into the weatherstrip from repeated open and clsoings, thus negating the sealing effect of the seal...lol. Mine also were replaced under warranty on my 2005 with a newer version part.

If it is not the weather stripping wearing out, it is likely that the door hinges need to be adjusted for a tighter seal.

Thanks but the thing is, the doors weather strip has nothing to do with the window seal which is the only thing that's effected when I roll the window down slightly (1/4") to alleviate the road noise. They are two completely separate seal assemblies and don't touch each other.

But your right on the door seal part. A couple of years ago I had to move the latch slightly to tighten it up and stop some road noise frm coming through it as well.

Ok, got the parts on the way but have a question..
In regards to the Window Glass Run Seal, is any kind of adhesive used to hold it in?

Thanks,
Scott
