Friday night, pulled the Dodge into the shop and installed my new gauge.
I went to Advance and bought a 6 fuse aux block and put in under the column, and used the block for 12v power ign on.
The instructions from Genos were great, I mounted it in the "hole" in the dash. The most time consuming part was opening up the hole in the mount panel for tthe gauge and running the wires. On the drop down cup holder, there is a small "door" for the light on the upper surface, I popped it out and probed the "+" wire and tapped into it for the light.
I did a search on EGTs and Boost and my readings seem to be in line. max of 20 boost and 1,000 egt pre turbo.
I also mounted a "TDR" emblem on the grille. Borrowing an idea I read here, I discarded the velcro, glued a bolt on the back and bolted it on the left (drivers) side grille. I used a commercial adhesive- SEM panel adhesive (OEM approved for attaching metal panels to vehicles) A note if anyone uses the bolt idea, close the hood slowly - you don't want to stab your condenser!
This is why mine is on the left side.
I ordered it online from Genos, who sent me an email with UPS delivery estimation and tracking number, very good service.
