I have had the truck almost a year and still learning how things work. Seems like every time I get into a new menu I stumble on a new feature. This morning I found out the nav has a screen that shows your current latitude and longitude and elevation. Very cool. The elevation is within 6 feet of actual. Maybe it measures to the top of the truck. It also seems to show the current satellites and signal strength. I wonder what else the 8.4 can do that I am unaware of.

The Uconnect/NAV manual is 120 plus pages, probably quite a few things.......like the annoying heat wave and flash flood warnings I get on the screen occasionally.....which I haven't figured out how to turn off..........

OK -- curious now. How did you get to that screen?

The feature I like best about Uconnect NAV is the iPhone app where I can look up a place on my phone within the Uconnect app which uses Google. When I find the place we want to go I hit SEND-TO-VEHICLE and then get it in truck and it navigates to that place. We used this 6-8 times per day while on vacation where we didn't know our way around, worked like a charm!

The elevation is useful knowing if you are going uphill or downhill. This also reflects Inthe mpg screen. What is like to see is Rv parks listed....
