8 ft box Cummins with Manuel transmission. What years did they make them?Do they still make them?I looked on new dodge websites but can't find any real information. But I might be in the market for good used-stock unit also. Have 1999 now

Great to know. Thanks I will look harder. So they have always made one then I assume ?They are listed in the 2017 brochure.
They started in 2003 and are still made today.
From 2003-2009 the differences between a 2500 and 3500 SRW were very small, with the only real difference being overloads on the rear springs... overloads that really don't do anything withing the weight capacity of 17" tires. From 2009-2013 the rear spring pack was different with the 3500 SRW's having a 7% stiffer spring pack.
In 2013+ the rear suspension is completely different. The 2500 uses a 5-link coil setup and the 3500 SRW has a leaf spring setup.
I think the OP's question was mostly directed at a 3500 SRW (Standard/Regular cab). I think they were/are made, just that they seem really rare. I hardly ever see a regular cab in any pickup anymore.

Yes they are still made and very rare.
I figured I'd let him know the differences since they are hard to find. Up thru 2013 there isn't much benefit to a 3500.
