My 2500 is out of warranty this month and I am deleting it. Going to use the RaceME micro, or Jr what ever it is called, it's the one with just four settings, anyway I wanted to know if anyone knew what the four different timing selections are in degrees and what degrees is the default timing in each of the power levels are, you know default degrees in economy, towing and performance. Already reached out to Franz at RaceME, three days no response.

Thanks in advance for any information, just wanted a reference in degrees, know how to set up a p pumped 5.9 just want information I can relate to.

There will be no cut and dry answer as the timing is not fixed. The answer may tell you which setting has more than another

Thanks Bob, didn't even think about the timing being variable because of the electronics, use to working with mechanical pumps.

modern engine with common rail injection uses multiple injections per combustion cycle... generally stock is best as those guys at Cummins spent a whole lot more time getting this to work than anybody in the aftermarket can put into it.

stock is geared more for emissions than efficiency and power.
what timing are you looking for? the pre injection event or the main? usually a small bump in timing will net an increase in MPG's but then people get carried away with the added power and loose the MPG goals.

Thanks for all the info, should have asked what is the maximum advance in degrees for the four different settings, if anyone actually knows.
