Proof that 4 gen Rams have just incredible brakes!

Is the poor RAM owner sporting NY license plates?????
Yes. I understand this happened up near Rochester. Also to note, those are NY commercial plates, which is required if no cap or topper and over 8500 GVW. Not allowed on NY Parkways. Why I run a cap, primarily

Bunk trailer vs a roller one also. Which makes it even harder to launch! I see no evidence that it had rear tie downs. But he did have a American Flag decal on the trucks rear window.

Even on a personal truck? Why wouldn't a p/u be allowed on a parkway? Just curious about laws that, at least on the surface, appear to be stupid.

Yes it’s a stupid NYS vehicle law. Once was ANY weight pick up if not equipped with a cap AND permanent seats AND a camping device like a stove, has to have comm plates complete with business name on the side and tax stamp. Now it’s only for GVW over 8500. Hence why I run a cap.

NYS Law is only passenger vehicles on a parkway. Most parkways in NY were built with low clearance overpasses and such on purpose to keep buses and comm traffic out.

I grew up in Pa. until I was 18 and entered the USAF. There are plenty of stupid things on the East Coast which was one of the reasons I am in AZ. Even at 18 I knew the difference between stupid and common sense.
