We cook...a lot..

Wife has another batch of muffins done, this is the fourth batch over the course of the past week.

Blueberry, Cranberry/Orange and my personal favorite Pumpkin with Cream Cheese filling...

Next up is 4 lasagna’s, 3 for the immediate family and best of all one for me!! We will start the assembly shortly. Another batch of cookies and one more round of muffins will finish the cooking for today!!!

Couldn’t do the muffins without this guy....money well spent as it gets tiring stirring all of that muffin stuff by hand...

Edit...wondering how adding a turbo would work???

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Most of our cooking is done, all our family is here in North Texas so no traveling required for us - just going to take it easy and enjoy the family. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Whoops, almost forgot Banana muffins have to be made as well...

Wife had to go help a friend, I started the Yukon beforehand. Wife tears out through the door, I look out a few minutes later and her foot is sticking straight out of the open driver’s door....getting ready to run out and see what happened...she pops up unharmed..
She was taking pictures of the frost patterns on the windshield...

Merry Christmas to all. Spending time in PA with family, hanging out with my BIL(partner in mischief), and will visit some friends after the holiday fray. I actually saw the sun for a minute or two. The "gray gloom" is hard to adjust to after some years in AZ.

Ah yes, I remember the gray gloom well. Last time I went back there Phoenix only had Terminal one. When we arrived back in Phoenix I was so glad to be home. Of course the temperatures in Phoenix those days were nothing like now and it actually cooled down at night.

WOW did that gif really work?
But really, my house is the meeting area for about 2/3 of the family since I have the dining room. Thankfully I’m off work, so it’s some errands and food prep. Yesterday I did some baking myself while the Mrs was mauling the mall. My fave to bake is a corn cake recipe I found right on the corn meal bag. I do it in my Lodge Dutch oven lid/ hi wall pan.

I also did a few batches of sugar cookies.

Then tonight we will go to a vigil Mass, and after that it’ll be four pounds of ground beef made into meatballs. That’ll be my wife and daughter.
