My brothers sled pull truck is still waiting on the re-build of his 556 big block, it went down last season. So when a local pull came up he used his wrecker:D Note the propane tank by the tool box and the Bobcat:eek:

He will try anything once, usually twice....

Gotta give credit where it’s due! Especially a max effort 385 mill like the one on the dyno! Love them headers! Can we get a video of a pull? With sound of course :D

A real run what ya brung kinda guy. Pretty cool. Got video of that pull?

Reminds me, ain't been to a pull in a long time. We just missed a garden tractor pull yesterday, AC on the house went out and we were waiting on AC tech to come deliver the initial bad news. Leaking evap coil.

Ahh crap Gary. I guess you’re forced into a new R410 system?
Nick, that’s great but when I meant pull, I was asking to see a dyno pull from that killer Ford.

Yeah show the dirt a flying. But the engine sounded angry lets get a Full Pull this is just for a graph!

Doesn't look super promising to R&R evap and convert to XXX gas on an 11 yr old goodman.

Time to stir the pot. My buddy who owns the engine machine shop says it’s no coincidence that the periodic sign for iron is FE. You might say he’s not fond of them.
On the other hand, he’d surely be as impressed as Wayne and I am with those Dyno numbers. 8500 rpm reliably doesn’t come cheap in any big block.

Well, name another engine where a simple intake swap cuts the weight in half??? Well, not really, but...:D

Hey, not knocking the FE. There’s a place for that. A kit cobra should have nothing but! Same for a honkin ‘66 Galaxie.
Point is, I’ve seen magic happen with any modern V8. Yes, even a AMC 390 can scream. Ask the Glidden’s what a 385 can do.
Meanwhile, here’s a healthy FE. Not to derail the OP.

Ooooooooh, that's FE porn, right there...

I agree, that is some awesome equipment for the era it was built in. Correct me if I am wrong but it seems like it was the Dodge boys who had it tossed out of racing because it would beat their Hemi's.
