I dunno Snoking. Seems like a natural balance die off according to which way you "read" the article. A whole lot of maybes, and the gray whale at populations "near record highs" just "may be" the cause of a die off due to lack of food. Yeah, natural selection/balance - N-A-T-U-R-E at work. I really don't see anything of "alert" status with the number of the carcasses being "found" by some select scientific populace than what I myself have observed in various locations around the globe in over 60 years. Sure, there are increases, and there are decreases, and there are terminations of species. It is NATURE, nurturing, feeding, recycling, and that misused word by man - evolving. A plan developed not by man...but is well explained in a particular writing. Maybe you should promote "Carousel" or "Soylent Green"?

If I remember correctly we were supposed to be out of Polar Bears by now. What happened?

You guys are good. Here's one of yogi walking onto the scene of the crime. Not too long after these shots he had his way with a rather large trash can :D

Just were do dead and dying sea creatures and birds end up after they’ve made their migration and then tip over? On the beach. Natives are spending more time boating with all their free money from the government in the form of welfare, fuel subsidies and a program called “People Propel”. More people on the water-finding more dead critters that normally wouldn’t be seen. Also, the natives are known to shoot up large populations of marine mammals and when the smoke clears they grab what’s dead on the beach. Any that make it into the water they won’t fool with. Crying shame but it’s their way since being given guns.

And that's why they're such a taciturn bunch whilst fishing.
