Do yourself a favor and foget the 1320 is installed. It is a GREAT gooseneck, and the RVK3500 is a GREAT hitch... but your trailer is not small.

Get the Factory 5er prep group installed and a RVK3600... do it and don't look back.

The best for less.

Anderson does sell a rubber mat for the truck bed obviously this is a serious problem
Sounds like a half*azzzzzzzzed solution to a MAJOR problem.

Anyone ever know of a doctor or emergency room giving a patient with a broken leg or broken foot or broken ankle a set of rubber crutches?

I also take it you weren’t running ACC at the time?

Yes you are correct I was not using adaptive cruise control at the time and it that's why I had the short stop in traffic around Charlotte actually I think my foot was kind of bouncing off the brake pedal when this was all happening.
I know one thing for sure now that I have it on heavy electric at the plus four setting it works much much much better it actually seems to pull back on the truck a bit from the RV brakes.

oh by the way I have my lug nuts on the jayco North point set at 75 foot pounds with my torque wrench is that sufficient for the lug nuts on the RV trailer on the trailer wheels on the jayco wheels I was just curious they don't loosen up a lot maybe just tiny bit.

That is too light. According to the North Point Owners Manual... did you get one???

If it has 1/2 studs you want 90-120 lb/ft, but if it has 9/16" studs you need 140-160 lb/ft.

That sucker is rock solid. My RV is 24k and 25k plus when I Tow my MC trailer behind the RV.

The way it is mounted is similar to Class8 trucks, that is a connection for such a heavy trailer.

The Anderson, to me, is something like for pull once a year a trailer over to the neighbors farm...

Just found this nice picture for Stuart....
