Real comparison, stock 2013 vs modded 2006

I took the cover off and put the bungee cord over the top of the generator on the back of the 5th wheel. You cant see the bolts holding it.

No one followed too close any more :-laf

Nice idea!!! Add to that a swivel for some movement and a dangling strap for the real goof balls still wanting to tail gate:D

Added to the hinges that allow the "front" to flop up a couple inches, mount the whole shebang on some drawer slides allowing maybe 3 or 4 inches backwards movement. :D :D :D

That ought to back 'em off a hundred feet or so... Oo.

This is great. I hate tailgaters almost as bad as people who pass on the right.

If you weren't riding the middle lane for no apparent reason they wouldn't have to pass you on the right!:D

I know I know! 50 MPH in the middle lane, that's me!

State law says MOVE OVER for stopped/emergency vehicles in the shoulder. So I move over, then I put on the blinker, start to go back into the right lane and WHOAH where did he come from?

Here in the Phoenix metro area, Turn On Blinkers is the same as "Gas it like hell, don't let the !@#$ do it. "

Safety (for yourself) means, swap lanes quick, turn on blinker AFTER the change... . :D :D

Yep, they do it in Dallas too! What gets me is be driving the right lane at the speed limit(who does that anymore?) and some crazy pass me on the right side on the paved shoulder which is supposed to be for emergency parking!

Why I avoid the big cities like the plague!

Yep Bill I have had a few  idiots pass me on the paved

shoulder before. If I would of had a gun I think I would of shot there tires out and who cares what happens then. I would of pull over and force them off the road but I care about my truck. I got one once I seen him coming around me on the right and moved over and put a stop to that. I seen him hit the brakes and that front end dip down Oo. :D :D

In PA if you're going slow enough in the left lane that someone can pass you on the right, it's you that will get the ticket. If you aren't passing you are supposed to be in the right lane.

I have auxiliary independently switched backup lights on the truck. They do wonders to push tailgaters back, especially the foreign cars with the blue headlights and ultra bright fog lights. An Atlanta radio announcer says that German cars come with either the signal light or the fog light option but not both. Most of these idiots run the fog lights all the time. When I'm towing, I don't care if they push me or not. If I have to stop, they are going to have to bore though 31 feet of steel, fiberglass and plywood to get to me.
