Saw a lot

Stones, Black Sabbath, Kinks, Huey Lewis and the news , Rush, Foreigner, Aerosmith, 38 special, Lynyrd Skynyrd (several X's),Rossington Collins band, Ted Nugent, Deep purple,George Thoroughgood & the destroyers, several more I cant remember.

The best show was given by (believe it or not) Huey Lewis @ "the jam" JFK stadium in Philly Pa.

I was partying with the Pagans at the stones concert.

That's awesome, I can't really say what my fav. show was. Saw Slipknot and Fear Factory on the latest Jagermeister tour that was great. Best live band though I have to say is Slayer and the best show of their's I saw was probably in 02. The only way to go to these shows is to be in the very front row against the rail.

Alice Cooper in the Paramount, Seattle

Santana at the Gorge in George

Stevie Ray and Robert Cray at the Gorge

Lollapalooza (at Gorge) with Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, George Clinton...

Anyone at the "old" Central Tavern in Seattle

Duffy Bishop playing Janis Joplin in a little play/ concert 10 years ago at a tiny venue in Seattle

Janis Joplin, Santana, and many, many others while being carried around by my hippie Mom in the late '60's / early 70's.

Would love to see Terrible Ted...

I keep having to edit my post because I see someone has a group listed I forgot about.

I really wish I could have seen the Dead, and I would have really liked to have seen Stevie Ray.

Stick

Hardest working man in the music world, Jack Ingram. His shows are the BEST I have ever seen. I have seen him about 13 times now, and he just keeps getting better and better.

Jack Ingram

Let me add that I have seen over 75 people in concert so far in my life, not counting the no-names at the local bars. We are talking about stars like George Strait, Reba, and so on. :)

THE FORD GUY Oo. Oo. Oo.

La Crosse, WI 2001

Megadeth -- no fancy lasers, no flashy stage props, no smoke and mirrors, just the cleanest, clearest speed metal music that I have ever heard live. They played tight. I saw them 3 times in two months. By far the best I have ever seen. Even got to bs with them again after that show, and help the road crew load the trucks. It was a blast!

Honorable mention: RUSH counterparts tour

I would like to see Iron Maiden someday.

I went to the DEADFEAT show (Grateful dead & Littlefeet) down in Giants stadium in 1991. That was a BLAST!

But I've seen PHISH over 160 times and the best Phish show I saw was when Carlos Santana and Phish jammed for 30 minutes at Sugerbush VT. !

What a ride!:p

jtisdale,

I second the Rush concert. I saw Counterparts, Test for Echo, and Vapor Trails tours. No opening acts, just Rush all night. Going to see the 30th anniversiary tour in Philly in August. Cant wait. :)

Of those that I can remember (which is a minority of them) I'd have to say Ozzy or Jethro Tull. They recently had the top 100 metal bands on VH1 and I had been to concerts of about 60% of them - but don't remember a whole lot about the concerts themselves. Sure wish I did.

Praise In The Rockies in Estes Park, Co. is always awesome for Christian music. I've seen Tait, Third Day, Micheal W. Smith, Jars of Clay,... too many to remember. I also saw Pink Floyd at the L. A. Coliseum, no idea what year, '88 maybe. Journey and The Outfield was good too at McNichols Arena.

Are you happy now, KBennett?

Collective Soul live is a WAY different band than the bubble-gum crap you hear on the radio. They ROCKED, effortlessly slipping from their own songs into CRAZY TRAIN.

The light show was spectacular. I'll always remember that concert.
