After I installed the '04.5 baffle into my '03, I sealed up all "leak" paths with foil furnace ducting tape. I want to ensure that only fresh air enters the turbo and no engine compartment air.
Every 1deg F increase in intake air temp increases EGT by 1.5 deg F !!
Every 10F drop in intake air temp increases hp by 1%.
