Early 3rd gen ('03-'04) in-tank-module. It is difficult to remove the fuel line between the outer fuel line and the electrical connector. See the instructions for tips on how to remove the line.
The white arrow points to the hash marks on the tank to line up with the triangle (red arrow) on the top of the module. This keeps the float aligned properly inside the tank. The black arrow points to the marks made at the factory and can be used as a reference as to how tight to tighten the locking ring during installation.
