    manual or shop reference book?

    I recommend you go with the factory service manual on CD. Unfortunately, I have found the factory manual to be deficient in the area of the wiring schematic for the Cummins ECU, so I had to supplement the factory info with Alldata, believe it or not.

    Factory Lift Pump Changed at 132K

    JJP: Do you recommend the Walbro pump with a stock CP3 on a stock motor? See T & C Diesel's post above. I believe the Walbro is rated at 60 psi max. What is the pressure at your injection pump with the Walbro, at idle and at WOT? Thanks.

    Dieseldemon: How often do you change the lube in your trans? Do you overfill it and/or use an aftermarket filter, such as those that bolt in place of the PTO cover?

    How long have your factory batteries lasted?

    My garaged 04 with 18,500 miles obviously sits around a lot. I keep the original batteries on a battery maintainer. So far so good... .....
