where can I find out about the recall? We checked the computer at the Dodge store and it showed no current recalls..... and did not show that this had ever been done to my truck. One of the mechanics did mention it the other day and that is why we were looking today. 1997 3500 smoker

Dumb, how do I get the rear drums off?

pop the rubber plugs off the backing plate (on the inside) see which way the star wheel will turn with a screwdriver... this will be the direction to adjust brakes out. You need to turn it the other way..... do this by sticking another screwdriver thru another slot and pushing the locking plate...

    5 speed hard to......

The clutch and plate is a centerforce and is only abt 6 months old, probably 5000 miles. It did not start over a long period but I'm not sure it was all there in one day. I haven't noticed a spongy clutch or a change in the feel of the pedal when it warms up, but I will pay attention to that...

get in gear from neutral when warm, no problem when it is cold and it doesn't seem to be a clutch or hydraulic problem. Any ideas? Its a 1997 It has the correct mopar fluid and gets worse the hotter it gets. tnx. Tony

All I have done is recheck the oil cooler and its ok. I've been to bumed out to mess with it. Next on the list is a combustion air checkand if it shows combustion air in the coolant then I think I can also isolate the culpret cylinder by doing the same test over with the injector line off of...

    5th gear nut

Mine came off 800 miles from home, no problems driving it back but it made for a long trip. My guess is if there was no damage as soon as it came off you could drive it forever.
