    this may or may not help. When the problems occur REMOVE the pcm place it in the freezer for a length of time to cool of the unit, reinstall the pcm and see if the truck returns to normal functions . If so that would to me indicate the problem is in the pcm

    I just went through this with my 95 dodge 4x4 automatic transmission . First thing that happened was the power to overdrive lockout dropped out , switch in dash.
