    Yes. But only if you are working on your truck and need the door open. Not full time that I know of.     Gear switch from 3.42 to 3.73 or 4.10

    Ok. I have 2014 with 3.42 gears. It pulls my 10K 5ther with no sweat. Tell your friend to just try the 3.42 gears before changing them out. He might be surprised. I have pulled over 20K with a problem. Those gears and a 6 speed transmission are a good comb. Ram got it right.
