Cummins reviewing B6.7 emissions certification process

Magnaflow was banged for >$613k for a bunch of GM 6.6L delete stuff. Yowsa. That will probably stem the tide of major MFGs marketing that type of product but the only way the feds will be able to stop people modding their vehicles is if they start going after individuals like the RIAA did back...

    Front and rear dash cams

I run Lukas f&r cams in two of my trucks and a Blackvue f&r in another. Both are good but I prefer the Lukas units for ease of operation and card access.

    Dually Doortag Payload Number

My Tradesman is stickered at 5650#. Cat Scale says it weighs about 8650# presently, so actual usable is 5350#.

    Need help with tow ratings

I would think the key is, are you loading it to 21k? If you're under 20k, you're within limits. BTW, what's the tongue weight on that thing? 2600#?

2018 1 Ton Dually Suspension Pulling 5th Wheel RV

I will not tow I10 between Vidor and Baton Rouge. I take TX 12 out of Vidor to LA190. It adds about 30 minutes but I don't worry about ripping an axle off the trailer.

    2017 Temp Gauge

This is a function of having too much information. I had a 2007 BMW R1200GSA. Those bikes were constantly complained about for overheating. This was odd as the older models never overheated. Main difference? The newer ones now had a temperature gauge. The old ones didn't. The precision of the...

    2017 Temp Gauge

Mine shows maybe plus or minus 2-3 degrees normally 188-193. If it was a gauge with a needle you'd never know it.

    Aftermarket bumper -working parking sensors

Ranch hand has different versions for trucks with or without the sensors. Not sure about other brands

    Aisin Daily Driver

No. Just run it. I love mine. All I'd do if I had to daily mine is load about a ton of rock behind the axle. Much smoother ride.

    What is this part?

Kinda looks like it might be one of the reversing proximity sensors. Not sure though.

    Motortrend On Demand Renewal

In case anyone else is a Roadkill fan. I got a subscription renewal notice email. Went to the website to log into my account and noticed their current 2 year rate is $89. Logged in to check my renewal and saw it was set to re new at $107 Which is the rate I paid two years ago. I'm not a fan of...

Can't buy Truck until the Interlock Recall is Fixed!

Stopped at my dealer to check on something else and asked about this. They have a truck very similar to mine that they now can't sell. But only because of the shifter recall. The water pump recall isn't a no sale problem according to them. And they confirmed my truck needs both recalls when...

Can't buy Truck until the Interlock Recall is Fixed!

Yep. I was randomly lucky when I bought my recalled 3500 about a week before the water pump recall was announced.

New 2017 3500, 440 Amp, Low Voltage Fault Troubleshooting and Repair

A couple weeks ago at about 500 miles on the new rig I got a few intermittent Low Voltage faults on the dash. I did a bunch of checking and found a loose wire on (what I believe to be) the second alternator. I cranked it down and the problem has not recurred for the last 800 miles. I made a...

    dash noise

Could it be a couple different wire bundles having the tacky side of the wrap tape touching?
