I am the original owner of this 1997 Dodge Dakota and I bought it brand new from Scranton Dodge where I live in Scranton, PA.
The engine is a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo diesel. The transmission is a factory 47rh automatic that is attached to the frame with a custom 1 piece cross member
My axles are out of an 88 F-350 the rear is a 10.25 full floater corporate rear and the front is a Dana 60 shortened 4”. Both axles are 8-lug. The front leaf spring pack is a combination of 98 F-350 and 99 Super duty springs they were attached to the front of the frame with a steel tube that was custom made it was cut and plated to look like it belonged there. (This was actually project Dakota part 1)
Modifications to the engine are as follows. 370hp Bosch Marine injectors, 191 delivery valves, #5 plate, HX40 Turbocharger, and an ATS 3 piece exhaust manifold. As far as the fuel system the electric fuel pump bolted to the side of the outside drivers side frame with the 2 filters is a
