The Ramcharger in Lone Wolf McQuade was an early '80s as the movie was made in 1983. That was the FIRST movie I ever saw on Video/VHS as a kid. Back when you used to rent the VCR too, since NOBODY owned one!
At one point he pushed a Federal Agent out of a dry wash that was driving a'67-'72...
I agree, we've already "compromised" ourselves out of a lot of our rights.
Sounds like you did things the way that were best or worked out for you and yours, that's all that matters.
Life's kind of set-up backwards anyway. By the time you have time to REALLY spend with your kids they are...
I assume you load that Marlin '95 up to its potential and shoot the round nose Hornadys. That was my recipe until the LeverEvolution ammo came out. I can't wait until those bullets are available as a component.
I'd like to get my wife a Cummins but the ones I like aren't big enough so I've...
You must have picked the better career because I have another 40 years before I can think of retiring.
Obviously I'm making a lot of assumptions of your age and circumstances of your retirement to make that observation though. .
Anyway, keep that kid shootin'!!!!!!!!!!
I have never cared much about . 50s. HOWEVER I believe ever law-abiding citizen has the RIGHT to own one.
I don't recognize that one. Is it a one-off or small production?
Just because I don't care about them doesn't mean someone alse can't love 'em to death!
I like about everything else...
Huh, where's it located at.
Mine's a '91. 5 and has a "computer" in the fender behind the battery (and intercooler) but I've never been sure of what exactly it controlls.
So the '89-'91s don't have it?
Well one thing I'm not modest about is my kids. And I'm not going to apologize for it! I would think anybody with kids or grandkids would find the seriousness, yet at the same time the humor of the statement you are referencing.
So far they're not old enough to have gone "bad", if they ever...
IF I ever figure out how to post pictures with my EXTREMELY limited computer skills I'll do it.
The only other full-size diesels I LIKE are the IDIs but I LOVE Cummins 12Vs!
Man! I couldn't read through all 18 pages but... .....
I have an '85 D350 SRW Long bed and a '91. 5 CTD
I'm going to use the 85 frame, cab and rear doors. My CTD is an LE so I'm going to use as much of it as possible.
I have 3 Allison 545s. One has the drum parking brake and another has...
Well get with it man! Go buy a gun and get some kids, you have to have those first you know. LOL
Using that 205 for low-speed manuverability is a good idea. I put 6" Skyjacker springs in the back of mine to eliminate the blocks and the associated spring-wrap but it's still nice to reach down...
As far as the 545s go I have one with a drum parking brake on the back that I plan to use. Plus I've been using my parking brake and neutral for so long with the five-speed I don't think it'll be a problem.
I have two complete set-ups for the Cummins and one that came out of a 40K# GVW Volvo...
Well I thought I'd introduce myself.
No I'm not some pompus @$$ who walks into a room and announces "I have arrived!" I just always wonder about people when I correspond with them on the "interweb"
I own a Gun/Gunsmithing shop and if I do say so myself: I know my stuff. If any of you have any...
