Return rate goes up under extended load versus short burst of power. Todd @ TC can elude more to those numbers than i can. Just know that in my experiences fuel flow and pressure are effected more under longer load times than short ones
Those numbers came from a Racor Engineer. He stated that they only work off full load numbers not partial load on the engine. He also stated that the main thing to keep in mind is . 18 GPH is to SUSTAIN 1 hp burning diesel fuel. So under extreme load(racing or Pulling Load) is why they use these...
There can only be one pump. The reason is they are not flow threw pumps and if you leave both and one quits. Fuel will not flow threw the bad one causing fuel starvation. Any questions Call me 480-288-0177
To sustain 1 Hp GPH required is as followed
Diesel = . 18 GPH Per HP
Bio Fuel = . 30 GPH Per HP
Veggie Oil =. 40 GPH Per HP
Example 325 Hp Running Diesel Fuel Requires 58. 5 GPH TO Sustain 325 HP. 325 x. 18GPH = 58. 5 GPH
We have tested GPH under load and Volume not Pressure is a...
