    Boss Plow lights

My 06 3500 4x4 auto dually lost the low beams on both the truck and the plow, high beams ok on both. Am told the TIPM was either bad or needed reflash. Supposedly the TIPM controls lights, and if voltages exceed limits or there are bad connections it shuts down lights. Dealer cleared codes and...

    2006 Dually Tire sizes

I am running stock factory wheels and tires. How taller, not wider, can I go? I figure with my stock 3:73 rear my 4x4 automatic may get better mileage. I know my dealer will have to readjust computer to adjust for revolutions per mile.

    Trailer Plug

Check the size of the 12-volt charge line. It's too small to be effective for anything larger than a couple of 1156 bulbs. I checked this circuit, its a 30 or 40 amp fused circuit. It is to charge an RV's battery when RV is connected. Besides, it worked last year! I think a computer has...

    Trailer Plug

#1: The drawing in the 06 owners manual showing the 7 pin trailer connector: Which way are we looking at wiring diagram? Looking from the rear of the truck looking in? OR looking at the rear of the plug! I need the ground and the 12vdc blades that will illuminate twin 55 watt lights that are...

Need some advice for stock 06

Amen! My perfectly running 06 dually, I installed a power puck just to advance timing to get better mileage. Always set on the lowest power setting too. Months later driving home from work noticed my fuel gauge showed less fuel, heck just filled up yesterday! One mile later pulling into my...

    2006 EGR'd?

Does my 2006 3500 dually 4x4 auto, manufactured in May 2006, have a egr valve? I can't seem to find any information in my service manual cd to indicate it has one. I do have a cat. converter. It was sold new to me in Pannsylvania. Thanks very much.

    Backup Lights

Trip 1; $8 to adjust cable Trip 2; $128 to replace switch Lights still don't work. Funny thing is they work when truck is cold, as it warms up they stop working. Might I add that I added (2) 55 watt halogen lamps in rear bed stake pockets? It helps when backing up at night when plowing during...

    Backup Lights

Anyone ever have intermittent backup lights? My dealer adjusted some cable on the steering column. It worked till I got home and again you got to play with the shifter to get them to work (automatic).

SnowPlow for 2007 QC, Dually. Western Plows, none available?

06 Boss Just had a new Boss V put on my 55,000 mile 06 3500 4x4 drw auto Cummins with 8' bed. Because it is a drw, the plow is 9' ?" wide. It is heavy, and when I lifted plow the butt really raised! I did what Boss said, AFT of rear axle I stacked 2,000 lbs. of rock salt. In addition to better...

    Finicky Backup Lights on 06

    Finicky Backup Lights on 06

My 06, an automatic, the backup lights work sometimes. If I shift from P to L and back again, then into R they come on. If just going from D to R and back, like when plowing, they don't come on. I am told by dealer that the shifter cable under dash needs adjustment. Is this something I can do? I...

    New Snow Plow

Just had a new 9'2" Boss V plow put on my 2006 auto 4x4 quad cab dually 3500. Lifting the 850lb plow my back end really lifts high, and they sit high to begin with. I raised my tires to maximum 80psi, and was worried in a panic stop with the plow on I would lose control. So, I bought a pallet...
