    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) HX-40 & WH1E T4 Footed Turbo options

Yep, actually the combination i'm using has the ability of using a T4 flanged turbo, the manifold is ready for it, much larger ID than the T3 inlet size.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) HX-40 & WH1E T4 Footed Turbo options

I gotta a few turbo questions primarily on what's out there. First off, the application is not a CTD installation, but the turbo that I'm considering came on larger Cummins engines (8. 3). But, seeing how 5. 9CTD guys have tried just about every turbo combination, and are aware of what's out...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Are all Banks "quick turbo" a 14cm turbine housing?

Thanks for the replies! I couldn't find any thing that directly pointed to that housing being a 14cm. I know that it is cast and has Banks on the housing, so I didn't know if this was different from the 14cm housings available elsewhere, or if it wasn't a 14, perhaps in between a 13 or...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Are all Banks "quick turbo" a 14cm turbine housing?

Hello! I'm in need of a 14cm turbine housing for a hybrid WH1C turbo I'm running with a 12cm currently. I'm looking online and at the Banks Quick Turbo setup that comes with the Big Head wastegate. I'm curious with all this "quick turbo" talk if they are ALL 14cm? No need in a...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) would you stick with the 12v or the 24v

After not owning either a 12v or 24 I still vote 12v for all the reasons stated above. Non-electronic no Drive-by-wire Less valves per cylinder, the valvetrain is always the weakest link in any engine. Basically to Diesel what SBC is to Gasoline But, the 24v does have one thing...

In the 12v Discussion Forum I started a thread discussing my disapproval of certian business practices offered by Power By Poole. This thread was an open discussion to enlighten current members of a certain downfall if one chooses to do business with Power By Poole. This thread also gave PBP...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) bigger injectors+turbo

So far I've made a similar conclusion with my WH1C turbo on a 6. 5L Chevy, I went from 56MM wheel to 60MM wheel and left the turbine housing alone. No difference that I could tell. Now, on the other hand, I have another WH1C on another engine that has the IV wheel and 14cm turbine and that...
