I don't remember offhand, but the prices are all up on their website. Order online, they ship free, super efficient, with a easy core return packaging too. They provided excellent chat support too, very knowledgeable. I remember their prices being very competitive. If you are going reman then...

    New injectors bad mileage

I just installed a NEW set of Bosch injectors. They work great, but mileage readout on the overhead console dropped to 16 and with the previous injectors it read 19-20 on average. I did not have a hand-calc measurement to use. AH64ID said something older stock injectors do better with mileage...

    Pensacola injection

If you don't use them, try injectorsdirect.com. I just used them for a full set of NEW bosch injectors for my 5.9. New crossover tubes and valve cover gasket too. They were excellent to deal with.

Truck experiencing a "shudder" when slowing down

Service Manual says to use the special 9037 output shaft seal installer tool. I can buy this on eBay for $25, Miller brand. Or I can do the PVC pipe technique and a block of wood to tap the seal into place. Any advise on this? I don't mine spending the $25 if it will make a difference...

Truck experiencing a "shudder" when slowing down

I want to thank all you guys for the great replies and ideas. I have removed the rear driveshaft and tomorrow it goes into the drive line service for new U joints, carrier bearing and balancing. None of the U joints feel loose to my hand. I'm also going to replace the transfer case extension...

Truck experiencing a "shudder" when slowing down

Thanks everyone for your help. I’m going to go through the driveshafts & u-joints and carrier bearing next as you all suggested. I like the idea of the IR thermometer, been wanting one of those anyway.

Truck experiencing a "shudder" when slowing down

It started when I experienced what seemed to be an injector problem, white smoke on startup, rough running off idle and seemed down on power. The tank is was low and I had treated the tank, when full, with Redline diesel treatment, a big dose to “clean” the injectors. It had been running fine...

Truck experiencing a "shudder" when slowing down

My truck is getting a shudder when slowing down, right at around 5mph. It only happens when slowing, not when accelerating, and only at very low speed as I coming to a stop. It feels like it is coming from the drive train, not the suspension. It happens with the engine on, and I can recreate it...

CI4 & CI4+ oil is still alive and well

I'll update this ancient thread. Years ago I bought a pallet of Delo 400 CI-4+. I am down to my last 5 gallons. I looked around and could not find any CI-4+ still being made, except found the Mobile Delvac MX F2 CI-4+. I'm going to try and source it locally through the Mobile distributor. I...

    Stanadyne Fuel Treatment

I do think Stanadyne changed their formula. I used to run it, and it was very strong smelling. I didn't use it for a couple of years, and recently saw it in my local Autozone. That was new as in the past it was not sold through the major retailers. So I bought a gallon. It hardly has any smell...
