Well... finally got it sorted out. I had to send the pump back to Bosch, they wouldn't just exchange it for me. Bosch called the place I bought the pump from and they told him that when they rbuilt the pump, the guy dropped a screw for the speed sensor. He installed a new screw but didn't bother...
