    If it’s not covered by warranty, you might want to consider having an independent shop do the repair.

    i just wanted to update this thread in case anybody does a search for the code in the future. Carson City Dodge (Nevada) replaced the turbo actuator under warranty (actuator only, not the turbo/actuator).

    Got code P00AF today, turbocharger boost control module performance. I'm at 63,000 miles so out of basic warranty but still in 100K powertrain. Anybody know if this is covered? I did some searching around and seems as if some dealers are covering it as a bad turbo and replacing it, and others...
