Yeah this just seems excessive. I have replaced the alternator (routine maintenance), installed a BD noise isolator, and the TC locks up as it should. Most of the time anyways!
I’ve read all about MoparMan’s thread on rewiring the ground on the alternator. The TC issues I have on my truck I...
Ive been really happy with my Firepunk Street/Track. They offer plenty of options for different budgets. Ive had mine for about 70,000, still shifts hard and no issues that I can think of.

I found some interesting ground wiring going on the other day when I was cleaning up a few things under the hood. The pictures are attached below, I understand the ground wire that is not connected is the PCM grounding strap but for some reason its been disconnected and another ground has been...
I just finished rebuilding the vacuum pump on my truck and pulled it out while leaving the power steering pump in the truck.
I am currently reinstalling the vacuum pump and just wanted to make sure there was supposed to be a small gap between the two pump where the drive gears align.

Got it back from the shop today and everything was fixed under warranty. Exactly like Joe said, there was a small amount of rust left where the bearing rides and they also think the last shop installed the bearing incorrectly. They also found that the rear brakes were installed wrong with right...

Also found out the shop that did it provides a warranty for their work...
Morning y’all,
I was going to take a look at the brakes on my truck today just to see how everything is wearing and I found grease all over my passenger side shoes and drum.
I had the rear brakes done last summer with all new hardware and they replaced the axle seals as well.
I’ve read that...
Awesome, Ill work on that. Looks like glow shift makes a line tap that'll fit the 47re lines even though it is listed as a 68re/rfe

I have the firepunk street/track trans in my 2000 2500 and I really like it. I have probably close to 50-60,000 miles on it and havent really had any issues with it. Im tracking down a heat issue but it could be anything.
I have done multiple cross country road trips with fairly light trailers...
The sensor will read below 144, it was 45 degrees this morning and the temp sensor was reading 50. So that part of it seems pretty accurate.
As far as I know the 47re doesn’t flow in park, but still never had this issue before. I’ll report back after I talk to them.
Thanks for your time
