still working on this problem have replaced transmission 3 times and starting on the 4the so dont know what the fix is just yet

That sounds exactly like what my transmission was doing so the pan was pulled and found lots of clutch material in the bottom probably not wha you wanted to hear but thats what i would check first. By the way my truck is a 2006 with the 48RE
