I want to ask the group about changing to the AFE Pro guard 7 filter. When you do this, do you need to also use the "torque tube" from Geno's? Does using the tube make a difference or will just removing the vanes/baffles from the stock tube give the same results? Next, my 03 has no cat...

3rd Gen Going on two years since I took delivery. So far the only thing that went "bad" was the a/c. Had the dealer top off the freon and works like new again. They put in dye to see if it may be leaking. Have 27,000 miles of mostly light duty, just under 1500 miles of heavy towing. Great truck...
