Update- I still have not put a gage on it yet, But the plug to the swicth has to be hooked up or the vent selector will not work. It does not matter what you do with the vacuum line.

I have a drawtight type hitch underthere so towing won't be a problem. Mainly I won't something I can latch onto anywhere without worries and good protection around the farm and town. My stocker looks terrible and is weak. I think I am going to leave this truck a little rough around the edges...

Okay maybe i finally have a worthy question. My abs and brake lights went out for the time being after i removed this switch and pluged the vacuum line going to it. Do i have to replace this switch. Brakes are the same without it, terrible :-laf

The wire comes out of the main harness connects to the cb power wire which goes directly to the battery.

Truck is running again. Previas owner had a cb power wire going to the battery that was twisted to a purple wire from the main harness(no tape). I am not sure whats going on with that, but it won"t run without it. Looks like maybe I'll be a better spark chaser after this truck. Thanks for the replys

Just rinsed with a water hose. tried not to spay directly on wires on the battery side or the alternator. No click no dash lights no radio, i would say it was totally dead except for that cab light coming on when you open the door
